Our Vision

Our vision is to nurture a generation of students who are academically strong, morally upright, and spiritually aware, capable of thriving in the modern, competitive world while remaining firmly rooted in Islamic values and ethics. We envision IQRA Islamic School as a pioneering English-medium Islamic institution where children learn that knowledge, character, and spirituality are not separate, but interconnected aspects of life.

We aspire to create an environment where students experience balance between Deen and Duniya—where education is not just about memorizing facts or scoring marks, but about understanding the purpose of creation, developing critical thinking, and cultivating responsibility. Our vision is to empower young minds to become confident, ethical, and socially responsible citizens who contribute positively to society while staying true to their faith.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a holistic and balanced education that integrates modern academic excellence with Islamic teachings, values, and character development. We aim to remove the confusion that many youth face today—where modern knowledge and spiritual understanding seem disconnected—by ensuring that every subject taught connects with real-life applications and an Islamic worldview.

We are committed to offering a faith-oriented, safe, and disciplined learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically, explore creatively, and understand the world through the lens of Islam. Our teachers are trained to blend knowledge and values, making education meaningful, relevant, and inspiring. Through this approach, students develop not only intellectual skills but also moral clarity, self-discipline, and spiritual consciousness, preparing them to excel in both Deen and Duniya.

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide an education system where students:

  • Receive quality modern education in an English-medium, CBSE-oriented curriculum

  • Learn Islamic values, manners, and discipline, integrated naturally into every subject

  • Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills for real-life challenges

  • Understand the purpose of creation, responsibility to Allah, and ethical living

  • Grow into balanced, confident, and socially conscious individuals, capable of making meaningful contributions to society

We aim to bridge the gap between traditional Deeni education and modern schooling, creating a framework where knowledge and spirituality coexist. By redesigning curriculum, training teachers, and adopting an Islamic paradigm, we aspire to make learning relevant, practical, and inspiring—so that youth remain connected to their faith while excelling academically.

About The Founder

Mr. Riyazul Karim Sahab is a highly educated, socially conscious, and forward-thinking personality, deeply committed to the educational upliftment of society. His vision has always been to establish an educational system in the region where children can learn in a disciplined, value-based, and inspiring environment, acquire quality education with joy, and build a bright future—ultimately contributing to the creation of an educated, aware, and progressive society.

His life journey has witnessed many ups and downs, largely due to the absence of proper guidance at crucial stages. This personal experience became the driving force behind his decision to dedicate his life to education, so that children in his area would never face the same uncertainty and lack of direction.

His early education was irregular—sometimes in a madrasa, sometimes in a maktab, and sometimes in school. Due to environmental influences, his studies were interrupted for a period. However, through perseverance, he completed his matriculation, followed by Intermediate in Biology. With the rise of computer education, he shifted his focus and pursued BSc in Computer Science, where his academic performance steadily improved. In his second year, he emerged as a college topper and successfully completed his graduation.

After BCA, while many opt for MCA, he chose to prepare for MBA, moving to Delhi for CAT and MAT preparation. Although he did not secure admission in IIMs, he received multiple calls from reputed institutions. By then, he had planned to pursue MBA abroad, but circumstances did not permit it. Eventually, he joined Wipro, working in Pune for three years. Despite professional stability, he felt unfulfilled—once again realizing the impact of missing mentorship and guidance.

At this turning point, he made a life-changing decision: if his own journey had suffered due to lack of guidance, he would ensure that future generations—his children, his neighborhood children, and children of the entire region—would never face the same struggle. With this resolve, he left his job and founded IQRA Islamic School.

From a young age, he believed that Muslim children deserve an education system where modern education and Islamic values coexist. Although he initially planned to save money before starting a school, witnessing the educational backwardness of the area compelled him to act immediately. With minimal resources, he began teaching from Al-Falah Jame Masjid. Gradually, people were drawn by the school’s discipline, sincerity, and quality education. Today, Alhamdulillah, thousands of students have benefited, many emerging as academically excellent, morally grounded, and socially responsible individuals.

Today, his vision is to develop IQRA Islamic School into a center of excellence that produces students who are academically strong, morally upright, spiritually aware, and socially responsible.

His mission is to bridge the gap between Islamic values and the modern world, ensuring children succeed competitively while remaining firmly within the bounds of deen.
His aim is to empower underprivileged and developing regions through education that transforms individuals and, through them, society itself.

Beyond education, Mr. Karim has always had a deep passion for sports, especially cricket. From a young age, he was a talented all-rounder and carried a strong interest in the game. At one stage, he even aspired to become an international cricketer and believed he had the potential to compete at higher levels. To gain clarity, he joined a reputed cricket academy in Delhi, where he trained seriously and had the opportunity to play alongside renowned players such as Tejasvi Yadav and Virender Sehwag.

However, throughout his life, Mr. Karim consistently chose education over personal passion. Even while possessing sporting talent, he consciously sacrificed his interest in cricket to focus on academics and educational responsibility. Recognizing the long-term impact of education on individuals and society, he redirected his time, energy, and dedication towards learning, teaching, and building future generations.

We are truly blessed to have such a visionary personality in our locality. May Allah grant maximum benefit to Labha Bazar and surrounding areas through his efforts, and accept his work as a source of lasting goodness for generations to come.

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It gives me deep satisfaction and a profound sense of responsibility to welcome you to IQRA Islamic School, an English-medium Islamic educational institution dedicated to academic excellence and strong moral values. This school is not merely an academic center; it is the realization of a long-cherished vision shaped by experience, reflection, and a sincere concern for our society and future generations.

The foremost aim behind establishing IQRA Islamic School was to create a balanced Islamic education system where ilm (knowledge), akhlaq (character), and tarbiyat (upbringing) progress together. I firmly believe that true education goes beyond textbooks, examinations, and degrees. Quality education must prepare children to live with dignity, discipline, moral clarity, and a deep sense of responsibility towards Allah, family, and society.

IQRA Islamic school is not just an academic institution; it represents a thought and a vision—to bridge the gap between Islamic values and the demands of the modern world. Many Muslim parents today remain confused about their children’s education. On one hand, they fear that enrolling children only in madrasas may distance them from modern education and make it difficult to compete in today’s world. On the other hand, placing children in purely convent or secular schools often leads to a disconnect from Deen. From the very beginning, my aspiration has been to establish an education system where children receive modern, competitive education while remaining firmly within the framework of Islamic teachings.

In today’s rapidly changing world, children require modern, competitive education to succeed, while remaining firmly rooted in Islamic values. At IQRA Islamic School, we strive to maintain a meaningful balance between Deen and Duniya, combining academic excellence with moral integrity. We follow an English-medium, CBSE-oriented curriculum that strengthens conceptual understanding, communication skills, and critical thinking, while nurturing students in a faith-based environment emphasizing discipline, manners, and spirituality.

Community upliftment remains a central objective of our Islamic school. Education is the most powerful tool for social transformation. A well-educated, well-mannered student grows into a responsible and ethical citizen. Special attention is given to character building, Islamic manners, respect for parents and teachers, honesty, punctuality, cleanliness, and social responsibility. Our hostel facility reflects the same philosophy, providing a safe, disciplined, and caring environment that promotes independence and self-discipline.

Over the years, IQRA Islamic School has grown through the dedication of qualified teachers, the trust of parents, and the hard work of students. We continuously improve our academic standards, teaching methodologies, and facilities while remaining true to our founding Islamic principles. I consider it a great amanah (trust) to guide this institution and nurture every child entrusted to us.

I sincerely thank all parents and well-wishers for supporting our mission. Let us work together to raise a generation that is academically competent, morally upright, spiritually aware, and socially responsible.

May Allah guide us, bless our efforts, and make IQRA Islamic School a source of benefit for generations to come.

With sincere prayers and best wishes,
